RICHARD F. TAUB, MANAGING PARTNER & PRESIDENT

Mr. Taub began his career as a state prosecutor in 1993.  He was quickly promoted as a supervising attorney in DUI and domestic violence units.  Subsequently, he handled DUI serious injury and vehicular injury cases, juvenile and violent felony and drug offenses.

Mr. Taub was appointed a special prosecutor to handle highly charged political and high-profile cases involving conflicts of interest with the prosecutor's office.

After his position as a prosecutor, Mr. Taub joined the law firm of Dickstein, Richardson and Reynolds and concentrated in the defense of personal injury and other insurance related-matters for such clients as Allstate and State Farm insurers.

Mr. Taub then formed the law firm of Taub & Taub, P.C.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury and civil litigation and trials. Specifically, Mr. Taub handles all state and federal criminal cases including DUI-related offenses, domestic and other violent misdemeanor and felony offenses, white collar business and individual offenses and the defense of government-initiated consumer fraud and forfeiture cases. 

Mr. Taub also works with various insurers, litigates and tries personal injury cases to maximize client recovery including in cases of automobile accidents, slip and falls and all other injuries to persons or property.  Mr. Taub has also represented various litigants in general civil or commercial matters including plaintiffs in real property disputes and defendants in debt-related actions.

DENA R. TAUB, PARTNER AND VICE PRESIDENT

Ms. Taub began her career in 1993 as in-house counsel for a national corporation. She handled complex commercial litigation matters throughout the country, in state, federal and appellate courts. Ms. Taub has numerous published opinions, including Hill v. Pope, 2009 WL 498633, D.Colo., February 24, 2009,  Heim v. Heim, 712 So. 2d 1238 (Fla. 4th DCA 1998), Bloch v. Gevinson, 855 So. 2d 729 (Fla. App. 4th DCA 2003), H.W. Gay Enterprises, Inc. v. John Hall Elec. Contracting, Inc., 792 So. 2d 580 (Fla. 4th DCA 2001), Boice v. Warnstedt, 696 So. 2d 448 (Fla. 4th DCA 1997).

Ms. Taub joined Taub & Taub, P.C. in 1997.  She now concentrates in the areas of domestic relations, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody, child support, parenting time issues, paternity actions, adoptions,  high conflict matters, protection orders, high asset cases and post-decree modifications of orders and agreements.

Ms. Taub prides herself on presenting her clients with all available options in connection with their family law needs, whether it is a negotiated settlement or a contentious custody dispute.  Her goal is to remove the stress that exists in these emotionally-charged cases and meet the unique needs of her clients.

Ms. Taub also works with various insurers, litigates and tries personal injury cases to maximize client recovery including in cases of automobile and motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful deaths, and all other injuries to persons or property.
